This Guitar was designed for a customer that asked for a PRS styled guitar constructed from the best quality timber with a set neck and tremolo system. After discussing the design and construction of the guitar i knew excactly what the customer was after from his instrument, at this point i started the custom build.
The customer was invited to look at the guitar at completion of every stage to see if he was happy with the progress and also to discuss the next stage.
As you can see from the photos the guitar turned out very good and the customer was extremly happy with his custom build.
Body:- The body was construted from 1 piece 4mm Brazilian Mahogany with a 15mm AAA grade Quilted Maple top.
Neck:- 25 1/2" scale set neck, Constructed from 3 piece Rock Maple with 22 gold frets and Madagascan Rosewood fingerboard.
Inlays:- Gold mother of pearl PRS birds with 12th fret being gold mother of pearl and ebony, Dot markers are also gold MOP.
Hardware:- All hardware was Scheller and consisted of locking keys, locking strap buttons and a 2 pin tremolo.
Electrics:- Coil tapped volume, 1 tone and 3 way toggle.
Pickups:- Handmade Bareknuckle Humbuckers in the brigde and neck position.
Finish:- Top was stained to enhance grain then finished with nitro-celluose vintage tobbaco burst, neck was finished natural with matt nitro-celluose.

Can't thank you enough for my custom built PRS everything is amazing tone, sustain, playability and over all finish carnt fault it in anyway I would recomend anyone to have a Povey Custom. And Surprisingly much Cheaper than you would expect to pay for a hand made Custom Guitar And That even included a quilted maple top and brazilian mohogany body "AMAZING"
